Uses
Folic acid is an essential B vitamin that supports the heart.* Folic acid also plays a significant role in the formation of new cells and is an important vitamin for women.* This supplement also contains B-6 and B-12 that, along with Folic Acid, help to maintain homocysteine levels that are already within the normal range.* Healthful diets with adequate folate may reduce a woman's risk of having a child with a brain or spinal cord birth defect.* Folic acid intake should not exceed 1000 mcg or 25% of the DV (daily value) for adults and children 4 or more years of age, or 125% of the DV for pregnant or lactating women.

Directions
FOR ADULTS, TAKE ONE (1) CAPLET PER DAY. Do not exceed recommended dosage. As a reminder, discuss the supplements and medications you take with your health care providers.

Warnings
Pregnant or lactating women should consult a doctor before using any product. Avoid this product if you have a history of kidney stones. Do not exceed recommended dose. Consult doctor before use if you have, or have had, a history of seizures, gout, a blood disorder, a folic acid, iron or vitamin B12 deficiency, anemia or if you are taking ANY MEDICATIONS OR REMEDIES, such as chemotherapy. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if any adverse reactions occur such as acne, skin flushing or irritation, numbness, tingling, increased urination or swelling.
