Why sea water? Why isotonic?
Sea water by nature contains salt, or sodium chloride. Afrin® PureSea™ is isotonic, meaning we reduce the concentration of sodium chloride in the sea water to match the typical level of salts in your won body to avoid discomfort. At the same time, Afrin® PureSea™ preserves sea water's minerals and trace elements.

Where does the sea water come from?
The sea water is taken from the Bay of Saint-Malo in France. The tides in the Bay of Saint-Malo are some of the most powerful in the world. They create currents that renew the composition of sea water, oxygenating it and regenerating its mineral salt content.

How is it purified?
The sea water first undergoes a sterilizing filtration process; then its content is adjusted by electrodialysis; and finally the solution is sterilized and packaged in bottles. The speed of this unique process eliminates the need for chemical preservatives.

Easy to Use
Use over a sink or in the shower

Tilt head all the way to the side so that the sea water flows through the upper nostril and out the lower nostril, flushing out excess mucus as well as pollutants and potential irritants.
Tilt head to the other side a repeat the process with the other nostril.

Adults and children 2 years of age and older (with adult supervision):

Apply up to 4 times daily or as often as required to obtain the desired results. Follow the directions specified in the enclosed package insert. Remove and rinse applicator thoroughly after each use. Use of this applicator by more than one person may spread infection.

Storage Conditions: Store between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F)
