Stool Softener

Uses
Fleet Soft-lax is an effective aid to prevent the formation of hard stools that may lead to constipation. The stool softener facilitates absorption of water by the stool, making it softer and easier to pass. Fleet Soft-lax relieves straining, minimizing painful bowel movements often associated with hemorrhoids, post-partum, or post-surgery. Fleet Soft-lax works in 12 to 72 hours.

Directions
Adults and children 12 years and over: One or two gelcaps daily. Children 6 to under 12 years: One gelcap daily.

Warnings
Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present, unless directed by a physician. Do not take this product if you are presently taking mineral oil, unless directed by a physician. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a physician before using this product. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use may indicate a serious condition; discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. In case of accidental overdose or ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
