Laxative

Uses

For the relief of occasional constipation. Bowel movement is generally produced in 6 to 12 hours.

Directions

Adults: 2 or 3 tablets (usually 2). Children 6 years and over: 1 tablet, taken at bedtime or before breakfast. Children under 6 years: ask a doctor.

Warnings

Do not use: laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present; for a period longer than one week unless directed by a doctor; for children under 6 years of age; for persons who cannot swallow without chewing, unless directed by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have: a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts longer than two weeks. When using this product: important: swallow tablets whole; do not chew or crush; do not take within 1 hour of antacids or milk; this product may cause abdominal discomfort, faintness, and cramps. Stop use and ask a doctor if: rectal bleeding occurs, or you fail to have a bowel movement after using a laxative- this may indicate a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
