Antacid Use:
For fast relief of acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach and upset stomach associated with these symptoms. Neutralizes excess stomach acid to give fast relief. Non-laxative, non-constipating.
Calcium Supplement Use:
As a daily source of extra calcium.
The 1000 mg of calcium carbonate in each tablet provide 400 mg of elemental calcium.
Very low sodium.
Directions:
As an antacid:
Chew 2-3 tablets as symptoms occur. Repeat hourly if symptoms return, or as directed by a physician.
As a calcium supplement:
Chew 2 tablets twice daily. Average daily consumption should not exceed 8 tablets.
Safety sealed - Do not use if printed inner seal beneath cap is missing or broken.

Drug Interaction Precautions:
Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. If you are presently taking a prescription drug, do not take this product without checking with your physician or other health professional. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature.
Warnings:
Do not take more than 10 tablets in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage of this product for more than a two weeks, except under the advice and supervision of a physician. If symptoms persist for two weeks, stop using this product and see a physician.
Important Information on Osteoporosis: Regular exercise and a healthy diet with enough calcium helps teen and young adult white and Asian women maintain good bone health and may reduce their risk of osteoporosis later in life. Adequate calcium intake is important, but daily intakes above 2,000 mg are not likely to provide any additional benefit.
